Scotland Under-21 boss Scot Gemmill has named a new-look squad for his first matches in charge against Iceland and Macedonia.
Gemmill replaced Ricky Sbragia in the position last month after any hopes of qualifying for the European Championships next year were ended by a 4-0 defeat in Ukraine.
His first squad includes Celtic youngster Liam Henderson, Motherwell midfielder Chris Cadden and Hearts defender Jordan McGhee, but contains no less than 12 players who are uncapped at this level.
Rangers striker Ryan Hardie, currently on loan at St Mirren, is among the new faces along with Aidan Nesbitt, who is out on loan at Morton from Celtic this season.
"I felt it was important to give our younger players a head start at this level," said Gemmill.
"We have very exciting young players coming through and this is an opportunity for them to test themselves at a very high level."
Scotland's youngsters face Iceland in Reykjavik on Wednesday 5 October before travelling to take on Macedonia in Skopje on Tuesday 11 October.
