WES FODERINGHAM today revealed he chose Rangers because they can offer him things other clubs could not.

The 24 year-old signed a three-year deal with the option for a fourth, and he set his sights on bringing the good days back to Ibrox.

Speaking to Rangers TV, Foderingham said: "The long-term vision is what made me choose Rangers.

“This is a massive club – the most successful in the world trophies-wise, and I just wanted to come to be a part of that.

“We want to get back to the Premiership and challenge, and there is European football beyond that, too. If I joined a Championship side, I wouldn’t get that opportunity.

“The gaffer and I spoke about there being a three-year plan. We want to win the league, get into the Premiership and then challenge beyond that.

“I had four very good years at Swindon, but now I want to challenge myself at a different level.

“Coming here I will hopefully get the opportunity to play in Europe, and if we get promoted this season there’s no reason why we can’t do that within three years.”

That's three signings made now by Mark Warburton and the latest addition likes what he has seen so far.

He said: "I’m really excited to be here and there is a really positive feeling around the place.

“I came on Monday to have a look around the stadium and the training facilities, and it’s a really exciting time to be at Rangers.”
