A teenager who was allegedly 'driving dangerously' has been charged after a 'police chase' in Glasgow.

Road cops say they were carrying out speed checks in the city's Southside recently.

During the checks, the force said a driver 'failed to stop'.

Following that, he was pursued around the area before 'giving himself up'.

Officers say the 19-year-old driver - who was a man - allegedly had no insurance, was a disqualified driver, was dangerously driving, and failed to stop for police.

He was arrested and charged.
