Police will introduce patrols in Glasgow's Southside in response to concerns about youth disorder.

Residents approached officers in relation to antisocial behaviour in the area.

Police Scotland said on X (formerly Twitter): "Officers will be on patrol in the Southside following concerns about youth disorder and antisocial behaviour.

"This type of conduct will not be tolerated. Our communities are for all to enjoy, in a safe and responsible manner.

"We carry out regular checks of the area and will be paying particular attention to known locations.

"Anyone with concerns about disorder or antisocial behaviour can approach officers, call 101, in the case of an emergency 999, or use the Contact Us section of our website."
