A BUSY road in East Kilbride is set to be closed for over two weeks next month.
Torrance Road will be shut between the town's train station and Kirktonholme Road from 8am on Monday, March 11 until 5pm on Friday, March 29.
It is understood the road will be closed to allow footway improvement works in the area.
Announcing the closure, South Lanarkshire Council said: "Whilst this order remains in force no person shall park, drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle on the section of road specified by reason of footway improvement works."
