GLASGOW is just hours away from welcoming the Arctic Monkeys in a highly-anticipated gig.

Hot off the back from their Glastonbury headlining show, the Sheffield rockers are set to perform at Bellahouston Park on Sunday.

And ahead of the concert, fans making their way to the Southside park should be aware of what they can and cannot bring with them.

Ticketmaster warns that anyone in possession of these items may be refused entry or removed from the event, and items confiscated.

What items are banned from Arctic Monkeys in Bellahouston Park Glasgow?

 

Flares, gas or smoke devices

Fireworks, sparklers, confetti cannons

Chinese / sky lanterns, firewood, candles or any flames

Excessive amounts of cigarettes and/or vapes

Professional camera/video/audio equipment including removable lenses, drones, portable laser equipment, laser pens, air horns, megaphones and sound systems

Vuvuzelas

Kites

Frisbees

Boomerangs

Spray paint cans

Aerosols over 250ml

Gazebos

Glass bottles, jars and containers including perfume bottles

Unofficial tabards and reflective jackets (Hi-Vis) 

Fake ID

Flagpoles

Umbrellas

Selfie sticks

Inflatables, chairs

Illegal drugs

Legal or "herbal” highs and nitrous oxide (NOS/laughing gas)

What size of bag can I bring?

 

Concert goers are urged not to bring a bag unless it is absolutely essential.

Bags larger than 30cm x 42cm (the size of a sheet of A3 paper) will not be allowed.

There will also be no storage lockers or cloakroom facilities available at the event.

Can I take food and drink?

 

No. Food and drink is not allowed and if it is found, it will be confiscated by management. Food and drink will be available to buy there.

Those with a medical condition which requires them to bring food and/or drink should contact access@dfconcerts.co.uk or make themselves known to the gate manager/supervisor at the concert.

You may bring 500ml empty plastic water bottles which can be filled at the various drinking water points.
