POLICE have launched an appeal to find a missing Bellshill man.
Darren Wilson, 41, was last seen in his home in the town on Tuesday, September 13.
Police say there was a possible sighting of him in the Lanark area on Friday, September 23.
He is believed to be in possession of his two dogs, a golden Labrador and a brown Staffordshire bull terrier.
He is described as 6ft tall, brown hair, brown eyes and medium build.
When he was last seen, he was believed to have been carrying a back pack.
Inspector Gerard Friel, from Motherwell Police Office, said: "Although there is a possible sighting of Darren just before the weekend, he has never been reported missing before.
"He is an avid dog lover and we think that his two dogs could be with him.
"I'm particularly keen to appeal to any dog walkers who may have seen him walking his two dogs.
"If anyone has seen him or may have information on his whereabouts, please contact 101 and pass the information to police."
