A man was goaded to lick the concrete slabs of a Glasgow street in exchange for cash in a degrading clip posted on social media.

The footage captured on Sauchiehall street shows a group of young men encouraging the man to answer a series of personal questions in exchange for cash.

The video opens with the man being quizzed on his favourite drug, to which he replies 'Base' - the street name for amphetamine.

He is then asked 'who is your favourite bird in the world' and he replies 'Katie Price.'

The camera man then forces a £20 note towards the man's face and says: "Put this in your mouth and i'll give you it."

He opens his mouth and the camera man shoves the money in his mouth as the group applaude the depraved act.

The cameraman continues: "Lick the floor and I'll give you a score."

The man lies flat and voices chime in: 'No, lick the floor.' The man gets up and briefly licks the concrete, before an unknown man clutching money insists he lick it properly and points to a concrete slab before handing over another £20.

The man is then asked to declare 'Div Nesbitt is the man' before another £10 note is shoved in his mouth.

He is then asked a series of lewd questions about his personal life before the man decides to leave the group, and the camera man declares: "Good on you, you've made about 50 bucks tonight."

The shocking video posted on social media yesterday is entitled 'The Human Vending Machine' and has been slammed as disgusting by online users.

Mick Donaghue said: "Idiots whoever took part in this, you are a disgrace to our city."

George Silvie said: "I hope Karma is given out. Exploitation of a vulnerable person making him lick a pavement is disgusting to be honest."
