A DAVID Bowie theme night is being held in to raise cash for a memorial tree for bereaved families.
Jackie Lennox is raising funds for a public Christmas tree in Maryhill.
She wanted to create something joyful for bereaved families over the festive season after losing her sister Tracy at the age of 47.
Baubles will be on sale later in the year, which can be personalised with the name of a relative.
An event is being held at Community Central Halls in Maryhill on Saturday September 10 to raise funds for Tracy's Tree.
Bowie tribute act Spiders on Mars will be performing and there will be a DJ and raffle prizes.
