Angela Sharkey, who survived the fire that claimed the lives of her daughter Bridget, 8, and son Thomas, 21, and her husband Thomas, 55, has returned to stay with relatives in the town where the blaze happened on July 24.
Police hope she will play a vit-al role in their probe by making an appeal for information about the incident in Helensburgh.
The 46-year-old mum placed in an induced coma before being treated for critical injuries. Mrs Sharkey had been unaware of the deaths of her son and daughter for 11 days and when she was finally told the devastating news by her sister she said she hoped that it was just a dream.
Strathclyde Police deputy chief constable Neil Richardson said Angela was "keen to work with the authorities and the police" and that a press conference would be arranged soon.
