POPULAR Scots musicians are set to perform at a concert for carers in Glasgow this weekend.

The ‘Concert for Caring’ will take place at the city’s Royal Concert Hall on Sunday, September 10.

Being hosted by The Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland, the event is dedicated to honouring carers.

This year's performances will include the legendary Glasgow band – Altered Images, along with album-chart topper – Callum Beattie.

The concert will also be hosted by comedian and radio host Des Clarke and include speakers Jenny Minto MSP and Jason Leitch, National Clinical Director at the Scottish Government.

Sara Redmond, Chief Officer at Alliance said: “In these challenging times, it’s essential to acknowledge the remarkable dedication of Scotland’s carers, healthcare professionals, and the organisations that stand alongside them.

“The Concert for Caring is not only a celebration of caring and carers, but also a reminder of the resilience and strength of our communities.”
