AN award-winning Glasgow kebab shop has opened a new restaurant near the city centre.
Shawarma King, which is situated on King Street, has opened a new venue on Paisley Road today (Monday, September 4).
We previously reported the eatery was named the best kebab house in Scotland for the second year running earlier this year.
The new restaurant is based at their other business, Kings Lounge Glasgow, however, the two areas are separate.
Announcing the news, the kebab shop said: “We are very pleased to announce that after months and months of hard work, we are finally opening our second location at our shisha lounge – Kings Lounge Glasgow.
“Located at 232 Paisley Road – we have plenty of parking space available for all of our customers.
“The restaurant is in the same building as our shisha lounge; however, the two areas are separate – the restaurant area is for food only and the shisha area is for shisha, mocktails and deserts only.
“We are opening tomorrow September 4 from 2pm and can’t wait to welcome you all.”
